Kansas City, Kan. — Most of The University of Kansas Health System's ambulatory clinics will be closed on Christmas Day (Wednesday, Dec. 25) and New Year's Day (Wednesday, Jan. 1). Many are open Christmas Eve (Tuesday, Dec. 24) and New Year's Eve (Tuesday, Dec. 31), but will see their last patients around 2 or 3 p.m. on those days.
Since taking care of our patients is our top priority, our Urgent Care clinics will be available with slightly modified hours (details below):
Christmas Eve
- Creekwood: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- KU MedWest: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Sprint Center: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
- State Avenue Health Care: 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Westwood: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Christmas Day
- All urgent care locations closed
New Year's Eve
- Creekwood: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- KU MedWest: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Sprint Center: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
- State Avenue Health Care: 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Westwood: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
New Year's Day
- Creekwood: 8 a.m.-noon
- KU MedWest: 8 a.m.-noon
- Sprint Center: Closed
- State Avenue Health Care: Closed
- Westwood: 8 a.m.-noon
The following areas will also be impacted by the upcoming holidays:
- Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT), BMT Exam and Westwood Treatment will be open for regular scheduled hours as needed on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
- Outpatient labs will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day, but are open regular hours the day before and after the holiday. They also are open regular hours the weekends following the holidays.
