Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

Kansas City, Kan. – In recognition of the upcoming Thanksgiving Day holiday, some of The University of Kansas Health System’s offices will have modified hours on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29.

Doctor office hours

• All doctor offices will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. Our staff will support routine scheduling needs and answer routine MyChart messages when normal business hours resume.

Outpatient imaging

• All outpatient imaging locations will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29.

Pharmacy hours

• Our retail pharmacy locations on the 39th and Rainbow campus in Kansas City inside Bell Hospital Tower and Cambridge Tower A will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, November 28, through Sunday, December 1.
• Southlake Business Park pharmacy in Lenexa will be closed Thursday, November 28. It will be open Friday, November 29, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. It will be closed Saturday, November 30, and open Sunday, December 1, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Our Westwood Campus and Indian Creek Campus pharmacy locations will be closed Thursday, November 28, through Sunday, December 1.

Urgent care hours

• All health system urgent care locations in the Kansas City area will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. View locations and wait times.

Walk-in lab hours

• Our walk-in lab locations will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. Our lab locations at the Medical Pavilion at 39th and Rainbow and at Indian Creek Campus in Overland Park will offer their normal weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Walk-in orthopedic clinic

• Our orthopedic walk-in care office at I-435 and Nall will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, and will be closed Thursday, November 28, through Saturday, November 30.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center

• The University of Kansas Cancer Center will be closed for exam visits Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, with these exceptions:
• Limited hours for scheduled BMT clinic and treatment at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood
• Limited hours for scheduled treatments at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood
• Radiation oncology sites will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, unless emergency treatments are required.

Great Bend, Kansas, locations

• All doctor offices in Great Bend will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29.
• Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic at St. Rose Medical Pavilion will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 29 through December 1.
• No inpatient services will be affected by the holiday.
